Everything that keeps a hotel full and running

Clean books, and numbers you can act on

A hotel does not have one revenue stream. It has several, arriving on different terms: tour operators paying net rates long after the guest has left, online agents paying on their own cycle minus a commission calculated their own way, cards settling in one currency and landing in another, and the front desk taking money over the counter. Reception closes the day. The money turns up later, in a different shape.

Matching those two pictures is the work that gets postponed, because something is always more urgent. It is also the work that quietly costs money when it is skipped — a commission deducted twice, a cancellation never credited back, a payout that simply never arrived. None of it announces itself. It shows only when both sides are read against each other.

Where we distribute your rooms we are already inside that flow: the operators and agents pay us, and we settle with you, so the record of what was sold and at what rate exists before the accounting begins. We keep the books from it, reconcile them against your bank, and send you the numbers on a schedule rather than on request.

01

Day-to-day accounting

We keep the ledgers — room revenue, the outlets, payroll, suppliers, the daily takings — as the month runs, not assembled at year end. Books kept current mean a question can be answered when it is asked, with a number rather than an estimate. Where you already have an accountant or an auditor, they keep their role; what changes is that what reaches them is clean and complete.

02

Reconciliation

Every channel reports what it sold. Every bank account shows what arrived. Those two figures are rarely the same. We match them line by line, against the reservations behind them, and we chase what is short until it is either paid or explained.

03

Reporting on a schedule

Numbers arrive when they are due, in a form a hotel is actually run from — revenue and cost by channel and by market, set against the same period a year earlier, so you can see whether a decision worked. Where we also handle your distribution and marketing, the commercial figures and the accounting figures come from the same records, which is why they agree. The figures you see are the ones we work from, not a summary of them.

04

Statutory obligations

Every country a hotel operates in keeps its own calendar — tax returns, tourism levies, payroll and social contributions, statutory accounts. We track what falls due and when, and assemble the records that sit behind each filing ahead of the date rather than after it. The filings themselves are made by licensed professionals engaged in your own jurisdiction; our part is the record they work from, and we work to their deadlines.

Scope, plainly. We keep the books, run the reconciliation and produce the reporting. We are not your tax adviser or your auditor: opinions, returns and sign-offs stay with licensed professionals in the jurisdiction your hotel operates in, and we work alongside them rather than in place of them. InnGo Group is a Singapore company and our partners operate under several different legal regimes, so scope here is agreed property by property. And where we also sell your rooms, we account for that flow to you in full — what was sold, at what rate, what we settled and what we retained.
